  • How flexible is my package?

    Very.  You have 12 months from the date of purchase to start travel, then 6 months to finish.  But if that isn’t enough time you can buy an extra 6 months for a fee.

    You can add, change and delete bus travel up to a couple of hours before travel.  Included tours can be changed up to 3 days before travel; this depends on the individual tour operator.

  • What do I do after I have bought my package?

    Create your My Experience account to view your package and all its inclusions.  Then when you’re ready to start booking, it’s all done here.

     

  • How do I access my booking online?

    Simply head to our My Experience page and follow the login prompts. We've put together this handy video tutorial to help you along.

  • How quickly do packages book up? Should I buy in advance or when I get there?

    Packages are unlimited but tours can book out fast, particularly during peak times (December-March). To avoid disappointment, we recommend booking your coach and tours 2-3 weeks in advance.

  • When you say minimum days required, can I do the trip shorter than that?

    Australia is massive so our minimum recommended days are there to help make sure you have enough time to complete your trip otherwise you might miss out on some of the tours you paid for.

    Plus you don't want to rush. Australia is awesome and you'll have so much fun you will want to stay longer.

  • Does my ticket include a return?

    Your ticket is for one way travel only. If you need to get back, we recommend buying a Greyhound pass or ticket for your return journey.  

  • Is accommodation included in my package?

    No, we suggest purchasing one of our great value Base or YHA accommodation packages. Or, you can simply book your own.

    However some of your tours will have accommodation included in them so make sure you take note of your overnight tours.

  • Is there anything else I have to pay for?

    Anything that is not listed as included in your package you will need extra money for.  Things like, meals & accommodation when you’re not on a tour, souvenirs, some transfers, any extra activities you want to do.

  • Can I get help with planning my trip?

    Absolutely. It’s best to visit us at one of our shops, but if you’re not in Australia yet, email us with your booking number and we can get you started.

  • What is the best time of year to come to Australia?

    If you want a buzzing atmosphere and you like sweating, come in summer (December to February). This is also our peak season so make sure you book your travel and tours in advance as they fill up really fast. Summer is also the wet season in many parts of Australia, particularly the northern tropics where big summer storms which can bring flash flooding that might cause delays on your journey.

    Autumn (March to May) and Spring (September to November) are really lovely times of the year to visit. Winter is also great with abundant sunshine in most locations (perfect if you want to spend most of your time in the beautiful northern tropics) but can get chilly down south around Melbourne.

     

     

  • How do I know if a tour is available when I want to go?

    It is best to call each operator to check on your date. Their contact details are on your ticket and in your booking details on My Experience.

  • How do I book my tour or coach travel?

    You can book your tours and travel through your My Experience account online, by calling us or the tour operator directly or visiting one of our travel centres. You can find all of these details on our contact us page.

  • How often does the bus leave? Where can I get a Timetable from?

    Greyhound has daily departures in most locations. You will be able to find departure times in My Experience.  

  • What happens if I miss my bus?

    Don't worry, happens to the best of us. You will need to contact us to make arrangements for the next available bus. You will be required to pay for a sector of travel that you have missed because we had saved that seat for you.

  • I’m 17 years old or younger, can I buy an Oz Experience Package?

    Unfortunately you will need to wait one more year for your dream Aussie adventure. You need to be 18 or over as many tours have age restrictions.
