Fraser Island is a little slice of heaven located off the coast of Hervey Bay in Queensland. This fully guided adventure will take you to fresh-water swimming lakes, ancient rainforests, pure-white sandy beaches and a shipwreck. You may even see a dingo. Fraser epitomises Australian beauty and should not be missed.

Make sure to bring:
Small day/overnight backpack, $30 for insurance fee, 1-2 changes of clothes, warmer clothing when travelling in winter, solar phone charger, camera, towel, water bottle, swimwear, sunscreen, hat, footwear, sleeping bag (optional), insect repellent, own alcohol (no glass) and snacks for when you get the munchies.
The boring (but important) stuff:
Make sure to confirm your booking as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment. Make sure that the date that you book is the night you want your first night at the hostel. You need to arrive to the hostel no later than 6pm the night before your tour starts. Safety briefing commences at 6:30am on the morning of departure and is compulsory. You must be over 21 years old with a minimum of 2 years driving experience to drive. 18-20 year olds or people who do not have 2 years driving experience can still attend the tour, however will be unable to drive the vehicle. Tour departs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from Palace Hostels and return at 3:30pm on the last day of the tour. Sleeping bag hire is available at additional cost. Ice and Esky will be provided to keep food and drink from spoiling.
